Tahoe 2018 - Part Three

My family loves playing cards, Skipbo is a personal favorite of ours.  I used to play all the time as a kid and it is fun doing the same with my family.

We love the indoor Truckee Rec pool - it is fabulous!  Clean, brightly colored and lots of fun activities.

Kiddos have to wear a life jacket unless they pass a swim test.  The test was pretty intense in the big lap pool, but they let Geoff swim along with Avery.  And she passed.  We were all so proud of her!

The lazy river is my favorite - I could hang out there all day!

It is always a special treat when Papa joins us in the water!

Tahoe 2018 - Part Two

 Now that my sweet daughter has been introduced to my printed blog books, I have decided to make an effort at catching up.  It might take me a long while, but it will be worth it.  Cambrie - all of this is for you my dear :)

Our favorite part of renting houses in Tahoe Donner includes the access to the private beach.  It is lovely and we always go early to secure the best spot.  

This paddleboat was alot of work and I'm not sure that it was worth it- haha.

This particular house had a really fun rock down the hill in the backyard.  This background is just stunningly unreal!

All the kiddos have grown so much since this trip!

Tahoe 2018 - Part One

Tahoe holds such a special place in my memory bank, and now the memory bank of Cambrie.  My parents generously rented a home for the 9 of us last summer. in Tahoe-Donner  Since we are unable to go on cruises or be too far away from my grandparents, we have defaulted to the fresh mountain air of Tahoe.  

Lots of giggles, lots of card playing and lots of Greatest Showman watching was had by all :)

Lots of exploring was had by all!  Here are a few pictures from exploring the Donner Museum and surrounding areas.  

  

  

The pictures with Tala make me sad, she was such a sweet dog and there are still some broken hearts in our family.

Month in Review - June

I started the summer of last year with a warm wedding in Oakland with my partner in photography - Tenaya.  It was such a cool venue!

And we always make sure to take a sweaty selfie at some point during the wedding day - love my Tenaya!

Super fun birthday pool party the first weekend of summer last year.  It was a great start to the summer - and we were so sad to be out of town this year.
