Dinner with the Cambra's

My mom and dad came over for dinner last night...my dad has made it a point to visit Shasta on a weekly basis. He is afraid that she will forget her grandpa if more than 7 days go by. We had a great time and the first picture below is just priceless.
(Doesn't retirement look great on my dad?)

Here is Shasta hiding from Cy under the Hooiser...I don't think she realizes that soon she will be too big for her hiding spaces.

And here is Cy trying to catch her...

(P.S. Did you know that you can enlarge the pictures on the blog by clicking on them? Just a fun blogging tip.)

Walkin' 'Round the Neighborhood

Damon and I took Shasta on her first walk this week...oh my was it funny! The little 15 pound doggie was running 100 miles an hour trying to smell all the new smells and keep up with her older brother. It is hard to get the pictures to capture the hysteria, you just have to see it to believe it.

(Did you notice how Shasta's feet rarely touched the ground?)

Cousin Time

Shasta didn't have too much luck seeing her 7 month old cousin, Ryanne, the second time around. Ryanne was a little grumpy after waking up from a nap and having a doggie give her kisses wasn't exactly her idea of fun.
The pictures speak for themselves!

The good news is that they saw each other the next day and they were both all smiles :)

Caution: Doggies At Play

Good weather means good playing time. We enjoyed the sunshine in our own backyard and Kris and Loren's backyard this weekend.

Should Shasta go swimming?

I guess she will give it a try:

Happy 80th Birthday Grandpa

My Grandpa Mori turned 80 years old today! We celebrated his birthday twice. First, Damon and I hosted a dinner at our house when Alicia was visiting on Superbowl Sunday. Second, my Aunt Ginnie and Uncle Steve hosted dinner tonight with some family members we haven't seen in years.
Here are some pictures from the Superbowl dinner:

And some from today:

Welcome Home Shasta

Here are the first few pics from Shasta's welcome into the Morelli Family. She had a busy first few weeks at home meeting her cousin Ryanne, her brother Cy, lots of Aunt's, Uncles, Grandma's and Grandpa's.

We love her spirit (although it is tiring) and how she follows her big brother around the house. She even carries toys around in her mouth just like he does!

Sleepy doggies...

Welcome to Idaho

After months of waiting, our new puppy was ready to pick up the last weekend in January. We took a fun road trip to Twin Falls, Idaho and took lots of pictures along the way. The 1,500 mile trip was well worth our new little black bundle of joy!
