Tahoe 2018 - Part One

Tahoe holds such a special place in my memory bank, and now the memory bank of Cambrie.  My parents generously rented a home for the 9 of us last summer. in Tahoe-Donner  Since we are unable to go on cruises or be too far away from my grandparents, we have defaulted to the fresh mountain air of Tahoe.  

Lots of giggles, lots of card playing and lots of Greatest Showman watching was had by all :)

Lots of exploring was had by all!  Here are a few pictures from exploring the Donner Museum and surrounding areas.  

  

  

The pictures with Tala make me sad, she was such a sweet dog and there are still some broken hearts in our family.

Month in Review - June

I started the summer of last year with a warm wedding in Oakland with my partner in photography - Tenaya.  It was such a cool venue!

And we always make sure to take a sweaty selfie at some point during the wedding day - love my Tenaya!

Super fun birthday pool party the first weekend of summer last year.  It was a great start to the summer - and we were so sad to be out of town this year.

Last Days of First Grade

Gah - C looks so young and little in these photos from the end of last school year!  

We enjoyed a fun field day with the first graders, supported Charlotte at her kindergarten graduation and celebrated with a canvas painting after school.  It was an amazing year!

  

Her teachers (she had two that did a job share) were awesome and kind.  In fact we ran into one at the fair last night and she is just the cutest!

Month in Review - May

Here is a random assortment of fun from last May...C and I at Mothers Day dinner getting her favorite meal, potstickers :)

 

A quick night of fun and laughs with Meredith and Lisa seeing the Cat and Nat show...we loved the beautiful theatre in Oakland.

Cat and Nat are a pair of best friends in Toronto that post a lot of videos and commentary about 'mom truths.'  It was a funny night away with my sweet girlfriends.

We found two yellow cars and had to take photos of them for Landon - yellow is still his favorite color and C always thinks of him.  

We took Avery on a special date for her birthday to the lego store followed by Peter Pan at the Spreckles center.  They really put on amazing performances at Spreckles!
