C's 3rd Birthday Party at My Gym - Part Two

Here are some additional My Gym pictures...it is so fun seeing all these happy smiling faces.

Gosh - I remember when I had to help her at the bars when she wasn't strong enough to hold herself up.

Hi Noah!  He is going to be a big brother soon - we are so excited.  And he is excited too, he loves hugging on his little sister.

Most of the kids were really excited for the space flight, I was surprised that Cambrie wasn't interested and chose to play instead.

Over in the party room, everything was all set-up for pizza and cake.  My photos are along the walls in the room, I just worked with the gym owner on ordering updated nicer and higher quality canvases - I am looking forward to seeing the new room.

C just loves her Tina - she wouldn't take a photo with me, but she clamored right up into Krystina's arms.

We tried to grab a family photo, but C wasn't too interested and requested that Avery join us in the photos.

The girls were soooo sad that the party was over.  They just stood at the door looking through the window asking to go back in.  I guess that that is a sign that they had a great time!

C's Third Birthday at My Gym - Part One

On the 15th of this month my sweet girl turned 3 and we celebrated soooo much.  It was a LOT of fun and lots of great memories were made.  I'll start at the end with some pictures from her My Gym party.  We really liked her party last year at the gym and due to my photography partnership it was a natural choice to have her party there again.

I set up a variety of snacks (most were left over from the family party from the night before) for the kiddos and parents to enjoy.

There were 21 (!) kiddos with their parents there - so many friends for my sweet girl to play with.  We invited all the students in her classroom and 5 were able to make it.  It was nice to see them outside of the classroom environment and chat with some of their parents.  I won't post any pictures of them on the blog, but I will include pics of my ladies and babies.

Miss Mer and her sweet Cami who will be one year old soon :)

And Miss PJ - rocking a C hand-me-down shirt.

Miss Charlotte had a great time too - she loves to climb so this was a perfect spot for her.

Miss LB (she is two months younger than Landon) also enjoyed the gym.  Look at that adorable smile!

Oh, and Wes, he is just so handsome.

I was really surprised that C came into her party on the train (last year she was terrified) - thanks to Uncle Geoff for helping Cambrie make a grand entrance.

During the warm-up C got really into it, we hadn't been to My Gym in a long time but she picked it up just like we were regulars.

Her party was Mickey Mouse themed - lots of Mickey Clubhouse music and games.  Like 'Mickey says' instead of 'Simon says' and the hot-diggity-dog swing.

C surrounded by her big girl cousins :)

Oh sweet Cambrie - you are just so happy and I love it.

I was so proud to see how fearless she was climbing and playing all independently.  And, seriously, that smile is too much.

A few more pictures for the post tomorrow :)

Fairyland Adventures

The weekend before C's birthday my sister and I took the girls the Fairyland in Oakland.  It was in such a great location on Lake Merritt and was a lovely fun-filled day.  Although it was raining at home, we escaped the raindrops until we were headed back to the car.  I would definitely visit there again - there was something for everyone.

Our one token group self-timer photo...

Avery was really excited since she is aware of all the story book characters - guess I need to stop reading Mickey Mouse and get C cultured with some more classic nursery rhymes :)

And Cambrie was just excited that Landon wasn't there so my sister had a free hand for her to hold :)

Every possible character was represented with either a house, a ride or an adventure.  They also have these fun keys for the mailboxes throughout the park.  Each mailbox has a story about the character - it was very cute.

This was Avery's reaction to the first mailbox greeting from Alice in Wonderland...

And, again, monkey see, monkey do.

Sliding into the rabbit hole...

There were a lot of slides and tunnels through the park which kept Cambrie very entertained.  And it wasn't that busy so we felt really comfortable just letting the girls roam around.  And that was a nice change of pace from Disneyland antics.

Pretenting to be statues...

One of the neatest parts was this little hill with cardboard that you used to slide down.  The girls loved it!!

Trying to get a picture with my girl, but she kept moving the camera up in our way.

They had a variety of smaller kiddie rides.  Avery was tall enough for this one and parents weren't allowed.  She did so good all by herself and was really proud too!

One of their other favorite parts was this little boat...although they were really confused why it wasn't moving.

It was a great special day with the girls and they really enjoyed themselves which is always the goal.
