Tinkerbell Half Marathon - Completed :)

On Mothers Day this happened....

13.1 miles - 6 miles inside the park, 7 outside.

A 4:15 a.m. wake up call.  16,000 other runners (although only 13,000 ended up officially crossing the finish line).

Although I clocked the longest time per mile that I have ever really run, I had more fun that I imagined.

Ending in a triumphant finish line crossing in the hot southern California sun.

With tears streaming down my face I received my first half marathon race medal earned in the happiest place on earth.

Here is what I posted on facebook:

It's only 11:00 and this Mother's Day is better than I ever could have imagined. This morning I completed my first registered run, the Disneyland Tinkerbell half marathon. My goal was to finish and have fun. Both were accomplished. During training I ran with my mind and my music. Today I ran with 16,000 others and was cheered on by characters, cast members and community. I cried running across the finish giving high fives to Mickey and Minnie. I cried when I got to see my Damon and Cambrie at mile 6. I dedicated each mile to different momma friends and family members in honor of Mother's Day. Now I'm enjoying the poolside cabana with this family of mine who I am so proud of. ‪#‎tinkhalf‬ ‪#‎makingmemories‬ ‪#‎morellistyle‬

Korbel Wine Tour

Last month my mom invited a few ladies to join her at a tour at Korbel that she purchased at a charity event - it was a beautiful sunny day that really showed the special place on earth that we call home.

My beautiful momma :)

And here is a selfie I sent to Damon - yes, I totally send him pictures every once in awhile.  This was during the crazy time of turkey season when Damon was hunting all the weekends, all weekend long.  So I figured he missed my silly face.  He never replies so maybe he doesn't like seeing my mug across his screen.  Haha.

A very cool office that I hadn't seen before (and this was my 3rd tour) - everything in the office was built from one tree.  It was really awesome and it smelled like cigar smoke inside from back when it was the main office for the property.

Us ladies enjoying our afternoon of drinking, touring and eating yummy food.

Swim Lessons - Round One

Back to swim lessons - this time our first time with Avery.  We were oh so excited!

Look at these sweet girls - happy to see one another and excited to meet their new swim teacher.

Landon loves bugs (and his backpack), he saw a bug on the ground and was distracted.  Then Damon walked up and promptly laid right on the ground.  In the middle of the walk way for lessons - that is some nephew dedication from my guy.

Smiles from ear to ear!

The girls did great being in class together - I was a little nervous but didn't need to be at all.

This particular day we had a super fun visitor with Aunt Susan - again, such family resemblance!

The girls were very excited for their special guest...

The next day for lessons we decided to wear our swim goggles.  There was another little girl in the class that had on goggles and was going under water.  Both C and A are a little scared about going under water.  And thankfully the plan worked!

Busting some dance moves before class...

LT and his backpack :)

Avery was throwing up 'I Love You' sign that my dad taught the girls to do.

The next lessons we had even more special visitors!

And another bug for Landon to check out.

Love this picture of my beautiful family...

C and A wouldn't separate for a picture, so we each have a girl on our side :)

And, celebrating our girls accomplishments with a yummy dinner afterwards at Union Hotel - C loves it there.

Mrs. Grossmans Sticker Tour

I have several photography clients that have become good friends - it makes me proud that they not only enjoy the images I have created for them but also me as a person.  I appreciate the ability to meet many different people in front of my camera and the ability to make new friends during the more adult stage of my life.  Plus, it is such a small world out!  This particular friend grew up in Rohnert Park, when to Chico for HR and is a HR Manager for a manufacturing firm in San Rafael.  Plus, there are lots of friend/family connections too.

We get together every other month with our kiddos and C just loves loves loves G and J.  This particular day we went to the Mrs. Grossmans sticker factory and LOVED it.  It was so much fun - we need to go back again.  You get to walk through the production facility and get lots of stickers too.

Afterwards we took a walk through the park behind the office and right near my work - so pretty!

These two holding hands while walking together - so sweet!

After lunch we stopped by my work to say hello - its hard not to see our friends when we are just right around the corner.

The last picture with C's special Easter Bunny before he went back in hiding until next year.

Poster in Phone Photos

A few more fun memories to share from Poster at my Auntie Paula's.  The girls were surprisingly on making great decisions this day.  They played very well outside and were listening well when they were inside.  It is always hard when we go to adult houses - I get nervous about ruining all the adult pretty things.

This view is just so pretty and calm :)

The girls didn't want to wear their fun bunny ears so I helped myself.

We are all still so excited about the flower girls and ring bearer - July 11th will be here soon!

My lovely pretty and talented cousin, Chelsea...definitely some family resemblance there!
