Damon's Birthday - Part One

I tried to have Cambrie hold a happy birthday sign for Damon but between Shasta's kisses, the lovely edible quality of paper and the lack of smiles this was as good as I got.

On Monday evening we went to the 101 Casino restaurant for dinner. Surprisingly they have good food and you don't even have to go near the casino (unless of course you want to.) C and Damon were playing around while our table was getting ready.

Miss Charlotte did great sitting in her highchair and eating a tons of prunes. She is getting oh so big!

Ryanne made sure to sit next to me and Cambrie and tell me all about her day at school which included a visit from a witch who left her magical broom and hat at school.

Cambrie was a little out of sorts since she didn't get an afternoon nap, so she took a little snooze in my arms...

and on the booth :)

Kris brought along some extra popular and delicious Sift cupcakes for dessert...

It was C's first experience with candles and she loved them!

We love having reasons to celebrate life with our family :)

Another Cambra Family Dinner

I uploaded these images thinking they were all from the same event since C is in the same outfit, but they are from two events in the same day :)

First up, my grandparents came by our house back in September to visit. They haven't done that for quite some time, so we had a nice visit while Damon was out hunting. I was still in my pj's when I answered the door and they immediately asked me if I was feeling okay. I smiled and said yes, I was just being lazy. Later I got to thinking about how much more relaxed 'my' generation is than 'their' generation. I am sure that my grandma has never answered the door in her pj's and glasses on :)

Later that day we headed up to Windsor to have dinner with my parents, Alicia, Geoff and Avery. The girls love playing in my parents entryway, which makes me laugh because in high school we would put on big fuzzy slippers and run around the entryway sliding on the floor. And now our girls are kinda doing the same thing.

Avery loves giving Cambrie hugs and kisses...

My grandparents were at a friends house down the street so they stopped by too, just in time to pass around the sleeping baby.

Not quite sure if there is anything better than a peaceful sleeping baby, it rivals a fresh out of the bath baby pretty well.

Adobe Pumpkin Patch - Part Two

After our pony ride we headed to the little 'jail' and Avery was just beside herself with excitement.

Cambrie was a little more confused, but she still looks super cute behind bars :)

We tried almost all of the tricks in the book but just couldn't get these two little ones to look at us. There was too much excitement with the pumpkins and the actual wheelbarrow. Cambrie couldn't keep her mouth off of the superbly clean contraption - just like Avery did last year :)

You can kinda see the girls matching 'Cutest Pumpkins in the Patch' shirts in this picture...

Finally, a perfect size for C.

My grandpa decided to take C for a spin...

and then my grandma got jealous and joined in on the fun!

In about 5 minutes flat Cambrie decided that she was tired and fell right to sleep on my dad's shoulder. My eyes teared up with happiness, my dad just looks good surrounded by girls.

We decided to visit different pumpkin patches every year - there are so many in Sonoma County for the girls to explore. I love making new family traditions now that I have an official family of my own.

Adobe Pumpkin Patch - Part One

This time last year, I am carrying my little pumpkin inside and my sister and I were talking about how excited we were to have our girls go to the pumpkin patch together. For fun, here are the pictures from last year with Avery at 7 months and me at 6 months pregnant. This year, we invited the entire family to join us in the fun at the Adobe Pumpkin Patch.

Of course, we took plenty of photos of the girls together, now many of them where they are actually looking at the camera though :)

After exploring the haunted house and the pumpkins, we decided to go on a pony ride. It was Cambrie's first time. Per usual, whenever she experiences something new, she is super serious and doesn't smile too much. But, she liked it nonetheless.

Many more pictures to be posted tomorrow :)
