Fathers Day - Part One

Damon has been working up on the ranch remodel on the weekends, including Fathers Day.  So, Cambrie and I headed up to the cabin to join the rest of my family for the day.

I was very excited to give my grandpa and grandma a book that we made of our Disneyland trip.  It was about 60 pages full of photos of the trip as a thank you.

 They were very very excited! 

 

The rest of the day was spent watching these two girls run around on the deck outside, then run inside, and make the loops again.  It was funny for everyone and tiring for the parents - haha.

Crazy to think that next year we will have another little one to celebrate the day with!

Water Table Fun Time

Another morning playdate with Casen and Trenton...this time C didn't wake up until around 10:00 (yikes!) and she was still shy when she saw her friends. But, she warmed right up when Casen was showing her one of his aps on his ipod.  It was the app where the cat records you and playbacks with a goofy voice.  C just loved it :)

Before getting dressed for the day, we headed out to play with her new water table.  I am not quite sure who was more excited, the boys or Cambrie.  When she saw it for the first time, she said 'Oh wow - wow!' 

 

 

The boys decided that Cambrie needed some better toys for her table and we went to the store to pick out some smaller cars to fit on the table bridges and tunnels.  Casen took a lot of time deciding on the perfect cars for her.  So cute :)

Peggy Sue's Car Show

It has been 3 years since we attended Peggy Sue's Car Cruise in downtown, and this year we got to bring our girls :)  Avery and Cambrie enjoyed playing in the water fountain and waving at all the cars driving by.

My dad was so proud to have his girls there enjoying the history of classic cars.

Geoff and Damon are such great fathers, we received a few compliments from bystanders about how impressed they were with the hands on husbands that my sister and I have.

This Chevy was my Uncle's high school car...word on the street is that someone engraved 'Tim Loves Michelle' on the dashboard.  Too cute!

We got this little chair for Cambrie at Cabela's when she was a newborn, so it was good to see her making good use and enjoying it.  

Such a fun evening with this lovely family of mine...so many memories.  Next year we will be entering a car in the show again :)

Estelle's Birthday Party

Cambrie and I were invited to a second birthday party of my client turned friend's daughter, Estelle.  Clearly this mom knows how to have a party - can you believe this desert table?  The theme was lemons and pink lemonade and the decorations were perfection.  Cambrie was a little obsessed with the present table and kept going over to 'talk' to the owl on the bag that we picked out for Estelle's books. 

C was very shy during the party and kept on wanting to hold my hand (which I just soaked up with pride), but towards the end she found a cash register and couldn't stop playing with it.

One of her new obsessions is to take things out and then put them back in, I think that she restocked this lemon basket about 5 times while I was able to hold on an adult conversation for a few minutes.
