The Wiggles

I have shared my love for groupons lately and this one didn't disappoint.  Krystina and I took our kiddos after work to see the Wiggles at the Wells Fargo Center. Cambrie wasn't really sure who they were but she was excited to see baby Jason and 'Tina (how she chooses to say Krystina - she can say her whole name, but is stubborn about it.)  Look at this cute family:

As usual, C was obsessed with Jason.  I swear she would kidnap him if she could :)

I wish that my camera settings were fixed on this picture.  The show started super late - we were all restless and then when the curtains opened Cambrie was absolutely shocked.  Clearly, this is a blurry picture and she looks a little goofy.  But she stayed like this with huge eyes and her mouth wide open for a good 10 seconds.  It was hilarious :)

C also really likes James...she talks about him a ton since they are at preschool together.  This series of her getting into his personal space just makes me laugh. She starts with touching his ear, then moves to having her arm around his neck for a hug.  Haha :)

Papa's Birthday

This year my dad's birthday was on Labor Day - so it was a perfect day to head out to the cabin for celebration.  Damon's grandma Betty lives on the way to the cabin so we always leave early to allow time to go visit with her .  Cambrie is very familiar with where she keeps the toys and she loves trying to catch her cat, Trixie.  Grandma Betty gets so much joy from visits with her great-grandchildren.

Cambrie also enjoys the opportunity to show off her singing and dancing moves too!

The family was waiting for us to arrive - the girls were excited to see one another like always.  And Cambrie was excited to give Papa his Thomas the Train birthday card and Butterfinger candy bar.  When I was little I always bought my dad candy bars for his birthday and his Christmas stocking.  He is an easy guy to shop for :)

Avery brought a fun rocket launcher toy that all the kiddos (big and small) enjoyed playing with...

The good thing about birthdays these days is that there are lots of eager helpers to blow out the candles with you.

Fishing at the Ranch

It was a bright sunny Saturday morning and Damon was home - so it was a great opportunity to head up to the ranch to go fishing at the lake with Krystina and James (and baby Jason too.)  We had lots of big plans about the fish aspect, but it was pretty warm and us adults weren't really that great with the whole fishing situation.  Haha.

These two are little peas in a pod...

James is pretty obsessed with tractors and with all the construction crews around he loves seeing them all around town.  Damon's dad was working on a job site so he had most of his tractors off-site, but there were still two tractors for James to see.  He was SO excited.  

Although, Damon was just as excited as James was in the tractor behind him honking the horn.

James was a little apprehensive about going for a ride on the tractor so he decided to pass.  Of course, as soon as he got in the car to go home he started asking for a tractor ride.  Next time buddy - we promise!
