Six Flags - Part Two

This was us after the drenching...I was completing soaked.

The park was starting to put up holiday decorations and we couldn't resist sitting in Santa's sleigh.

Looking at the sharks...

Walking through the butterfly garden...

We did take some time to ride some rides too, C's favorite was working (a jumping frogs ride), but they still had fun being independent and going by themselves.

Cami was having a blast, she loved everything, it was so cute to see her excited about it all.

More rides!

We had a lovely day with our friends...I adore my ladies and our babies.  The fact that she love one another just as much makes me happy!

Six Flags - Part One

After trying to go to Six Flags in August and having the road closed (!) we were able to schedule another date and just hoped that we would have good weather.  And we did - it was awesome!

During this time of the year the park is only open 6 hours, so we maximized our time by arriving practically when it opened.  We stopped to look at the super cute dolphins first - everyone loved it!

Since the shows were only happening once that day, we based our schedule around when we could see them and looked at the other exhibits while waiting.

Look at those cute girls!

Standing next to an elephant ear!

We then headed to the Splash dolphin show (argh - C had a bad fall at school and her lip is all crazy in these pictures.)

We were sitting in the splash zone which was a new experience for us.  C was getting mad that other people were getting more splashed than us...until the sweet little dolphin just hammered us with salt water. And then she was super upset and didn't like it.  Haha :)

Wild Kingdom Show

Taking a break from Disneyland pictures to post about our second show of the year at the Wells Fargo Center for the Family Fun series.  We love these shows and I really get alot of enjoyment over showing Cambrie the arts and little bits of different types of culture.

This particular show was from the PBS Wild Kingdom show and there were going to be a ton of animals to see.  But first we arrived to make our animals masks during the complimentary art hour:

They also gave away fun masks for the kiddos:

The show was crazy - a few videos of the instructor during his 30 year animal show career and lots of animals on stage.  We were pretty close and they had a camera filming and projecting on a big screen.  There was quite the diversity of animals...penguin, hawk, hedgehog, crocodile, birds, etc.  After the show we waited to have our books signed and got to see some animals up close and personal:

The girls were really into it and weren't scared at all!

All the animals came from local resources like Safari West, Six Flags, etc.

This bird and employee was from Six Flags and we saw her when we visited there the other week - she was corralling the penguins :)

As always, a fun time with these cute girlies :)

Disneyland - Part Three

Cambrie loved staying at the hotel...she loved Goofy (or Goof Goof) as she called him and we had to take a picture with him every time we walked by.

On this morning my mom, C and I slept in and took our time getting ready and having breakfast at the concierge level.  They always had on Disney movies, which was a nice touch.  And they let you take waters and snacks into the parks :)

We met up with the rest of the crew in line for the Princesses.

I was wondering what C was going to do this time with the Princesses.  And she was so into it this year!  Last time she literally picked her nose while Avery was meeting Cinderella :)

Cinderella asked if we were celebrating anything special and C pointed at my mom and said that we were celebrating her :)

Afterwards we met up with Geoffs mom and sister then watched the Tangled play.  Last time saw the Beauty and the Beast play and it was awesome, this one didn't disapoint either.  The actors are super talented and the adults all enjoyed it just as much as the kiddos.

We hung out after since we knew that the characters for back for photos.  Flynn was perfect - he kept posing exactly like in the movie, I was super impressed how 'in character' he was.

I had to get a picture too :)

Cambrie was very excited to take a picture with her Rapunzel - she told her that she was dressing up as her for Halloween.  It was adorable :)
