Thanksgiving Part Two

On actual Thanksgiving, we had a nice family breakfast at Marvin's where Cambrie enjoyed some strawberry waffle and flirted with the wait staff (per usual), then I decorated the house for Christmas (minus the tree) while making my dishes for dinner that night. We headed up to Leana and Tyler's for a perfect holiday meal.

We decided to just have her wear the same cute dress, since it won't fit her much longer. I love it with the hair clip too :)

Cambrie had a great time exploring her other cousins toys and this chair that Damon and I gave to Ryanne for her first Christmas. What a big girl she looks like...

Love her little cloth diapered bum and thigh rolls...

My parents were graciously invited to dinner as well and the boys spent plenty of time talking about their hunting adventures and plans.

Cambrie could not get enough of the food, she ate a ton of cranberries, yams, turkey and rolls.

Another sweet baby with a cloth diapered bum :)

She is starting to point at everything these days too...

It was such a lovely evening, and to cap it off Leana, Ryanne, Charlotte and Chelsea (Tyler's sister) had a little dance party as we left. So fun!

I already miss the Thanksgiving leftovers...

Thanksgiving Part One

My sister, Geoff and Avery were headed down to San Diego for Thanksgiving, so we celebrated the Sunday before with my side of the family. My sister hosted a beautiful dinner at her house. It was comfy, and cozy, and yummy!

While we prepped the rest of dinner the girls were busy playing...Miss Cambrie loves playing with her cousins toys. And, seriously, are their dresses beyond adorable?!?

What a big girl my daughter is becoming...

She is so proud of herself when she walks with assistance and stands without assistance. And, she likes to look around to make sure that everyone is watching her latest accomplishments.

Cambrie also liked playing with Avery's Pottery Barn chair...can you guess what Santa might be bringing her this year?

One of C's favorite games at home is to have Damon carry her while chasing Shasta around the house. We decided to have the girls chase each other with our assistance...looks like they liked it :)

Papa Tim just loves rough housing and tickling his granddaughters...

And after all the playing and dinner eating, night night eyes are sure to quickly follow...

Clearly, it was a great night with our family.

Cambra Family Dinner

The Friday before Thanksgiving we had a Mexican themed dinner with our Uncle Dave, since we haven't seen him in a super long time. Even though I didn't get to talk with him too much due to cooking and Cambrie, it is still nice to at least see his smiley face. Cambrie and Avery were very excited to see one another, as usual :)

We were worried that Avery might not be too happy to see her music table at Cambrie's house, but she didn't even notice and just jumped right in to play with it.

Uncle Dave brought over some walkie talkies for the girls and Avery was very impressed that it was calling her name :)

Cambrie is amazed at watching her older cousin...

Maybe next time I will actually try and take some pictures of the other adults present...haha!
