Back at the end of June we took a long weekend to head up to Cedarville with my dad for a weekend of true country living. It is such a quaint town with one stop sign and not much going on, it was perfect for the 4 of us.
We also took C squirrel shooting and she loved it (which we really weren't too shocked about.)
We also attended the Modoc County Rodeo which was filled with amazing people watching.
Cambrie was a little on edge during our trip, a little too much personal attention I think since this trip was right after her Pre-K graduation and there was so much talk about kindergarten. Regardless of the rough parenting moments, it was a nice weekend seeing the slower side of the world. I hoped to bring more of that pace back with me, but, per usual, I failed miserably. At least I have some good pictures and memories to remind me of slowing down.
