Open House 2018

The end of the school year brought so many events, including Open House - one of our favorites.  

I was selling logo wear and look at the custom sign a certain first grader made for me:

She was so proud to show off her classroom to us, especially Damon (since I spend lots of time in her classroom)

C had a job share this year and equally loved both of her teachers.  They are super kind and wonderful people.  Really, all the teachers are at her school.

There was also an art show in the multi and some telescopes on the field to check out the sky!

Here is a picture of a cute card C made for her principal...she just loves all of staff at her school!  So thankful that she loves school as much as she does!

4H Chicken-Que

We love the 4H Chicken Que and I loved it even more this year because look who was wearing her 4H whites :)  Adorable!!!

Per usual, we had an amazing amount of family members enjoy an afternoon in the sun with us.  

And everyone bought a lot of sodas/waters from Cambrie and her friend from school and our group.

We really really love 4H and highly recommend the experience to everyone!

Disney Trip - Part Six

Our last day we hung out at the hotel before leaving for the airport.  Our original flight was at 1:00...little did we know we could have stayed all day in the park since our flight to Santa Rosa was cancelled :(

This was hour 4 into a 6 hour wait for a flight (and that was after we already waited for 1.5 hour for boarding.)  It was kinda crazy.  My mom never flies, and of course, this happens during her one time flying with us.  But, we made the best of the situation and C got lots of iPad time.  

We looked so tired and over it by the time we boarded a Delta flight.  C really liked the Delta plane.

The bummer about flying into San Francisco was that we would have to take the airporter home and not arrive until 10:30/11:00 or my husband, the best husband ever, would have to drive to SFO.  Guess which option we received?

Despite the unplanned travel plans home, everything went well and the ending didn't put a damper on the rest of our fun weekend away.  One more month and the three of us will be there again :)

Disney Trip - Part Five

Our last day full day in the park was focused in California Adventure - we all just love the Cars ride.

We were able to get a lot of rides done during our early morning entry for hotel guests.

We also did the water ride a few times too - she just loves it!

We were excited to see the Incredibles monorail - so excited to try the Incredible-Coaster next month!

C rode the carousel horse like a real horse - it was too cute.

She wanted to go play in ToonTown - which was cute to see her playing amongst all the little kiddos.

We finished out the night with the fireworks dessert party - we had a lovely time as always.  

Disneyland is so pretty at night!
