Happy (Belated) Grandparents Day

Since Cambrie has too many special grandparents and only one grandparents card, she decided that she wanted to share her masterpiece with everyone on the blog.  So, one day after daycare she got excited to show me her latest art project.

She showed me the card with pride and knew that the picture of her on the cover was in her swimsuit during the water play day at Kindercare, she kept saying 'wa-wa.'

And inside the card she told me all about the heart and hands, although she said that her hand prints were yellow, not purple.

And, with that, Cambrie (and Tinkerbell) says happy (belated) grandparents day!!

Cambrie Playing

From our fridge in the kitchen...

To the fridge in her kitchen...

This girl is all smiles.

And laughter.

And silly parents (or playmates.)

And clapping.

And cuteness.

And kisses.

And goofiness.

And pure joy.

And she is all mine.

PJ's First Birthday Party

On Sunday, September 10th Miss Payton June Giles turned one year old.  She had a lovely birthday party...Meredith really out did herself with all the details and all the guests.  There must have been more than 60 people in attendance and she had 4 separate areas set up in her house for playing, eating and drinking.  Noah and Cambrie had a fun time playing together as these pictures show.

Despite not taking a long nap, Cambrie was in a great mood and loved having a new environment to play in with her friends and family.

These two look so much alike...

Oh my goodness, I have never seen her stand like this and this picture just makes me laugh.

These next two pictures of Noah with his concentration and tongue sticking out make me laugh too :)

PJ was really excited to see her cake and it looked like she was going to dive right into it, but she ended up being a little timid with the large pile of sugar in front of her.

Cambrie and Noah were happy to take a little break from all the playing and enjoy their own birthday cupcake.  These pictures are precious to me, such good friends sharing a cupcake date together :)

Noah doesn't usually get sweet treats and he was digging the opportunity to chow down.

One of the other sections of the party was a jump house for the kiddos.  It was the perfect size for the little ones, not too big and intimidating like so many of the jump houses are.  While all of the other kids were watching PJ open presents, Cambrie and Noah took advantage of the jump house down time and went to town.

These next two series of pictures make me smile as well...I asked Cambrie if she wanted to give Morgan a hug, and this was her reaction.

Then I asked her if she wanted to give her daddy a hug, and this was her reaction.

Love these ladies and our babies!
