Tahoe with the Ladies and Babies - Part Two

We all shared the food for the weekend and Damon and I were in charge of breakfast.  Damon loves making big breakfasts and we enjoyed sharing that with everyone.  It was a great way of splitting everything and only buying what was really needed.

It was still snowing all day and we were excited when Lisa and her family arrived.

Look at all of those kiddos!  And we were missing Abigail :)

The kids (mostly Noah and PJ) were obsessed with staying in the hot tub while it was snowing...look at the snow on their heads.  Too funny!

Abigail cracks me up...she is pretty shy around adults, especially men.  Very similar to Cambrie...but Abigail LOVES Damon.  It was so cute :)

Dance party!

Another night trying to sleep with the kiddos...that didn't last too long again.  This night was super exciting because Noah lost his first tooth!  It was so fun to all be a part of that.  C is still bummed since her teeth aren't even loose yet.  Patience is such a hard thing for a 6 year old to understand :)

This was our driveway....sooo much snow!

Group portrait time...just missing Justin :(  Hopefully he can make it next year!

Again, very thankful for a big truck to get us through these roads :)

Love that in 3.5 hours we are home from this winter wonderland...we live in such an amazing place!

Tahoe with the Ladies and Babies - Part One

Several years ago Damon said that we should rent a big house in Tahoe with my friends and their families...well, in February we finally made that happen.  The only bummer is that the weekend went too quickly!

We got to bring Shatsa too - and the kiddos did great with her.

There is record amounts of snow this year and it was beautiful!  I have never seen that much snow in Tahoe before.  Thankful that Damon was driving the truck!

The house was perfect....it was huge, lots of toys for the kiddos and it wasn't too fancy so we weren't too worried about any child destruction.

Look at this cool window :)

Lisa and her family couldn't join us until the next day, but Meredith, Morgan, Josh and the kiddos were able to come up on Friday afternoon too.

The absolute best part of the house was that we only left to go to the store...there was plenty of snow and snow play in the front yard.  Which worked out great with kiddos at all different stages of tiredness and hunger.

There was a huge upstairs game room where the kiddos all slept (or at least tried to sleep, C never did make it).  We had them all sing twinkle twinkle little star before bed and it was possibly the cutest thing ever.

I know I say it often, but I am so so thankful for these ladies and their babies.

Month in Phone Photos - January

C decorated my cell phone with some pretty jewels from Auntie Susan :)

Can you tell that she picked out her own clothes for our movie date?

She loves going to Costco...we have a favorite employee who knows her by name and always goes out of his way to say hello.  It is super cute.  The other week we were there with my parents and he was saying hello to C...as we turned around another employee asked him 'what was up with that?' and he responded 'I don't know why, but she really likes saying hi to me.'  Its because she figured out how to read his name about a year ago and she felt super connected to him afterwards :)

Sweet profile in the lamp light...

Matching three generations of rain boots - now we just need to get some for Mimi!

My sisters families new puppy, Talla :)

Cute cousins at school!

Grandma Kris babysat Cambrie while Cambrie babysat Twist :)  This picture ended up on Papa Loren's Facebook page and C is always very excited for when that happens!

Wednesday classroom volunteering...

Always holding my hand :)

Big show night!

C requested that the mommas get in a photo too :)

I love seeing her self portrait drawings improve and evolve each month :)

Drop off with both parents is a good day!

Getting her second trimester assessment with her teacher....I was eavesdropping and was so very proud of my girl.  She completely applies herself at school and is doing so very well.  Plus she absolutely loves it, which is the best.

100 days of school shirt with 100 items hot glued down - my first time using a hot glue gun with her.  It reminded me so much of my childhood, I feel like my mom always had the hot glue gun out.

Showing my grandma how to use her new cell phone while waiting for my grandpas diagnosis...always trying to keep smiling and stay positive.  And seriously, how beautiful is my 85 year old grandma?

Impromptu lunch date with my 'pot sticker' girl...the owner knows Cambrie by name and has also deemed her 'pot sticker girl' since she eats an entire order by herself. I ate them a lot while pregnant and started timing my contractions while at our favorite restaurant (that has since closed down).  I miss eating potstickers :(

Legos, lego and more legos.

And some Monopoly added in!

Love receiving drawings from C :)

Oh, look!  More legos!

More Lego sets = happy girl!
