More of Avery Marie

I just posted some photos of Avery from my visit to San Diego last weekend on the photography blog, however, I get to share more on this blog now :)
I promise, a lot else has been going on in our lives besides Avery, but she is just too cute, how can I not share a gazillion photos? And the scary part is that there are soooo many more :)
I will start blogging about the weekend in a backwards manner, starting with these pictures that we took on Sunday afternoon before my flight. I didn't have all of my standard newborn photo supplies, but we made due quite well in a little corner of the Hildebrandt's dining room. There are big french doors, so I used those to my full advantage with the hard afternoon light.
Here are some other great pictures of Avery, my sister, Geoff, Geoff's sister Kayla and Geoff's mom.

Heehee, the next one makes me laugh, Avery has a ton of different facial expressions, they change about every second and this one is a classic one!

Love the wrinkels!

She didn't like her pink Cal Poly hat too much...

Geoff's sister Kayla flew in from New York to meet Avery and spend time with her nephews, she wanted a few pictures of her with the little gal...

Avery chillin' with all of her "friends" and being comforted by her mom's touch...

Isn't she a doll?

Avery's First Car Ride

These are the last photos of Avery's hospital stay and the first photos of her trip outside of the hospial. A chain kiss reaction...

Getting ready for her going home outfit change...

Do you think that my dad is excited?

Her eyes are so big and pretty...

The first mom and dad tag-team swaddle...

Geoff was really exccited to say goodbye to everyone after the long hospital stay - they all said "see you again in two years!"

Despite her face - she did enjoy the car ride and still loves it - she just cries when the car stops :)

Welcome to the World Avery Marie

Long time no post - what can I say, we have been busy! I have a ton of pictures still from San Diego that I hope to have posted soon. These are from when we returned home from the hospital. Avery had a cute little welcome sign to welcome her home :)

She was greeted with lots of Italian blessings from her great grandparents - is this the picture of a proud great-grandma or what?

And a proud great-grandpa as well...

After the introductions downstairs Avery headed upstairs for a tour of her living quarters...

Geoff was SO excited to show her where she will be getting her baths...

Her changing table...

She wasn't quite so sure about her crib...
The poor little thing wasn't too interested in eating, she was SO sleepy (I would be too after her entrance to the world!), so my mom tried to wake her up to eat with some cold water on her little feet.

The celebration continued into the night...

And Miss Avery relaxed in her bouncy seat from Aunt Sandi and Uncle Dickie...

So, I decided to relax with her - I was already getting sad that I had to leave the next day. (Sorry for the super strong flash, that is what happens when others get behind my camera!)

Proud grandma's...

I am headed back to San Diego on Friday morning - so I will be even more behind with photo posting - maybe I will catch up one of these days. xoxo
