Last Tuesday Miss Cambrie was lucky to meet her Auntie Diana and see her Aunt Susan again...she was a little cranky during their quick visit because she was tired, but she wanted to show them her pretty eyes and fought sleep for a little while.

Tahoe Weekend - Part Four
Last post about our weekend in Tahoe from my point and shoot camera...Miss Michelle got to feed baby girl a bottle while we had lunch on Friday. Cambrie was very excited to wake up from her long roadtrip nap and be surrounded by her favorite friends.
We brought her boppy, her bouncing chair and the top part of her bassinet on the trip and she used all three of them for sleeping. We were excited that she slept well all weekend despite being in a different environment. Here is my sleeping beauty:
On Saturday after sledding the boys were still interested in playing in the snow, so they headed out in the backyard.
My loves spending time together...in fact, this was the most time that Damon has been able to spend with the two of us. It was nice because I was able to sleep in almost every day, plus there were always plenty of hands willing to take care of Cambrie while I actually finished a meal within a reasonable time frame :)
On Saturday night we ended up meeting another family from home at the bowling alley. I have been wanting to go bowling for a long time and it was an absolute blast. Miss C slept the entire time that we were there.
We started driving home but the traffic was horrible, so we decided to drive to Cabela's for a shopping spree and the Straub family joined us as well. Look at her snow boots, they are so cute on her!
She was so excited to be at Cabela's that she slept for most of the trip, she didn't end up waking up until we were ready to eat lunch/dinner. I had a bottle of breastmilk for C, but she wasn't too interested in the bottle, I ended up nursing her in public for the first time. Plus, we also had to change her diaper in public for the first time. All at Cabela's, her father and grandfathers must be so proud :)

Tahoe Weekend - Part Three

Damon and I were so happy that we drove around and explored on Sunday afternoon, it was a beautiful sunny day and Monday ended up being cloudy so I wouldn't have been able to capture these images.
Note: All images were taken while riding shotgun (the last ones of the lake were while we were actually driving) and they are all unedited. I am looking forward to sprucing up a few and getting some prints made.

We turned down a residential street and it took us to a snow park for cross country skiers and snowmobiles. All of a sudden I mentioned to Damon about how tall the snow was, he had not realized to be careful of his mirrors while driving. There was a lot of snow on the side of the roads!

Back at the house we enjoyed some play time with Cambrie. She really enjoyed looking out at the snow and playing with the boys. Both Casen and Trenton are really really good with Cambrie. They would get so concerned when she would cry and were constantly playing with her. Here are Damon, Cambrie and Trenton enjoying the snow scenes.

Tahoe Weekend - Part Two
On Sunday morning we headed to a different sledding location, but Damon and I felt like driving around instead of playing in the snow. So the three of us headed around the lake and drove up to the top of the mountain near stateline. It was a beautiful drive and we were excited to show Cambrie more of the area (although she, again, slept through it all.) Pictures of our drive coming later. On our way home we discovered a neat sledding spot that we returned to with the Straub's in the afternoon. We had so much fun! It was a great location and when we were there it was snowing lightly - so pretty! Plus, the sledding was awesome...

The inflatable raft was the best sled ever - we need to purchase one of these for our future trips...look at how much air they were getting!
