Miss Avery

Here are a few quick pictures of Miss Avery from two weeks ago. I wasn't planning on going up to visit one night after work, but I hadn't seen her little face in two weeks and I needed an Avery fix. I let my mom know that I was going to stop by, but not my sister and she was a little miffed when the doorbell rang after a long and crazy day. But, when she realized it was me stopping by to say hello, she was happy that the doorbell rang.

While Damon and I were in Mexico Avery mastered the art of standing up with the assistance of the coffee table. The milestones are coming faster and faster these days.
And seriously, how adorable is this little niece of mine?

I feel so lucky that I have the opportunity to just 'stop by' my sister's house and visit. I cannot imagine what it would be like not to have her so close.

Halloween 2010

I was so excited for all of the little ones when the rain held out on Halloween, there would have been lots of disappointed kiddos out there. Damon and I stayed at home, watched the World Series game and passed out candy. We also had some special visitors...Miss Ryanne, who was trick or treating with her old neighbors in her old neighborhood stopped by even though she wasn't feeling well. I shared with her that we had a special treat from Mexico for her (the only present that we brought back for someone) and the bribery worked so we got to see her sweet little face. This is the mermaid at the end of the evening...

The Straub family, minus Randy who is out of state hunting, also came by to see us. The boys really liked my t-shirt :)

Hope that everyone had a fun and safe day!

Celebrating Meredith and Mike's Engagement

On Saturday night my friends and I celebrated Meredith and Mike's recent engagement with a fun night out and about in Santa Rosa. The first stop of the evening was to Dana's parents new house in Santa Rosa (so sad that they don't live at their beautiful Kenwood home anymore, but their new house is so much better for their future), and a quick play date with Miss Lily.
She is so adorable that it just melts my heart, plus she is a really good big sister to little Miss Molly, who is just 4 months old. By the time that I took my camera out she was all snuggled in her Ergo on her grandma's chest, so I don't have any images to show off her own adorableness.

We had a table for almost 20 at the Russian River Brewery downtown and were joined by lots of friends and family to celebrate the fun news. We just love weddings!

The Ursuline girls...

Since it was the Saturday before Halloween, most people were in costume and there was a band playing as well. Nicole, Meredith's niece was loving the environment and she was having the time of her little life dancing with everyone.

Little Faith, Nicole's baby sister was also a trooper who just fell asleep in the corner amidst all the hustle and bustle.

The Crotty family...

Miss Morgan with her 18 week belly bump with her family...

After the brewery a few of us went to Ausiello's where Justin and Damon proceeded to get engrossed in a few games of liar's dice and dice building...

Of course, a few more portraits before the evening was over...

Meredith and Mike's engagement pictures will be up on the photography blog sometime this week...we went out to Bodega Bay and it turned out to be a gorgeous day with even better photos. Stay tuned!
