Planes in the Park

What seems like forever ago - the ladies and our babies went to the summer screening of Planes at Howarth Park.  The City of Santa Rosa puts on a ton a great events throughout the year and many are either free or low-cost.  The kiddos were so excited to watch the movie on the big screen under the stars.  It is a pretty neat experience (even for adults!)

It is so fun seeing some of C's old clothes on PJ, then next Cami and then Abigail :)

C stayed awake the entire time and did a great job watching Dusty and his friends fly.  We have the movie at home but rarely watch it or even listen to the music...after this night she kept asking to listen to the soundtrack in the car.  Over and over again.

And then we got to move on to another one. :)

Planes was the first movie that she watched in the theaters....seems like such a long time ago!

Wes' 2nd Birthday

Back in September we headed to the Sonoma Plaza to celebrate Wes' 2nd birthday.  C was very excited to give Wes his present bag that she colored for him.

The sweet adorable and happy birthday boy!

Having the birthday in the park was just perfect.  The kids could run around, it was a beautiful day and Scott ran over to Marys to pick up pizzas for lunch.

So many people taking pictures of the birthday boy :)

These kiddos all had a lovely time playing together - it was a busy weekend full of celebrating our friends getting older!

And, it is even more exciting because Wes is going to be a big brother in the spring...our circle of ladies with their babies is growing!

Swim Lesson #3

At one of C's swim lessons she was very lucky to have had her grandma and Ryanne not only pick her up from school that day for a playdate but take her to swim lessons.  I had a late afternoon work meeting in Santa Rosa, and wouldn't have been able to logistically make it work (I swear sometimes my life is all about logistics!)

C adores her big cousin and could spend hours upon hours playing with her.  It is a super sweet relationship that we all appreciate!

C had quite the cheerleading section at that particular lesson...what a lucky girl.

Six Flags (Wait - Make That Traintown)

The ladies and our babies had great plans to head to Six Flags for the day.  We were all loaded up and on our way, but found out that Highway 37 was closed on a Saturday.  The detour was insane and we were in the car forever just to get over to Sonoma.  So we went to Traintown instead.  Not as much fun, but still fun!

These two - friends forever!

Our attempt at a group photo...lol

I accidentally bumped my camera into a weird setting on these, but I love Cami next to the big girls hanging out waiting for the roller coaster.

While Mer went again with PJ Cambrie and I were in charge of watching Cami.  We had fun and everyone survived (thankfully since it was about a 90 second ride.)

Even though it wasn't the day we had envisioned we still had a great time with our friends exploring and experiencing life together.

Swim Lessons #5

After the successful first round of swimming we signed up for a second round...this time we were able to fill up the entire class with friends.  Cambrie, Noah, Jenna and PJ.  What fun times!

C was a little upset about the boy instructor...she really liked Jillian from last time.

I was just so excited during their lesson - I cannot imagine what fun it was for the four of them.  It was like a bi-weekly water playdate :)

The fabulous foursome...

PJ's Third Birthday

Last month PJ turned 3 years old and had a perfectly fitting princess party.  C was very excited for the party (she actually had two parties that day to attend!) It was nice to have everyone get together to celebrate my little tow-headed friend Payton.

Fabulous decorations and a super adorable homemade cake...

Noah and Abigail have a super fun and goofy daddy :)

C and I picked out plain bags that she decorated, it is quite possibly the cutest thing.  I love seeing her creativity and imagination.

The pretty birthday girl - loved her dress too!

We are so thankful to have been a part of PJ's life for the last 3 years and we look forward to many more celebrations!
