Chico Girls Lunch

Last week I was able to meet up with my Chico girls (sans Dana) in Walnut Creek for a much needed long overdue lunch. It was lovely to see each of their smiling faces and catch up. Aren't they just the cutest?

I feel so lucky to have made such wonderful college friends that will remain my friends for life.

Avery is Driving :)

Last Wednesday my parents and I took the Hildebrant's to the airport for their Christmas trip in San Diego, since their flight was delayed we hung out in the Starbucks parking lot for a little while. And, Avery started to drive.

She has never sat in the front of a car before but she certainly knew where the gear shift and the keys were. In fact, she took the keys out of the ignition without my dad really noticing. She was a happy happy girl!

Another Shower for Baby M

The day before Nancy's shower, my sister, my Auntie Susan, my Auntie Paula and my mom and mother-in-law hosted another fabulous event for Baby M. Again, I loved all the details and all the people who attended (I think there were 25 people there!) It was so nice to see everyone and squeal over all the cute little girl outfits and gifts :)

Miss Ryanne was my present helper and did such a great job bringing gifts to me, look at those curls!

Shasta's Christmas

It was a good move on our part to give Shasta her Christmas presents a little early, since our girl got hurt hunting on the 23rd and needed to go to the emergency pet hospital for staples in her legs and has been primarily kennel bound ever since. The poor thing, she just hates the doctor these days. But, the good news is that she is healing well and hasn't taken the staples out (when she was fixed she got almost all of her stitches out and was in a world of pain.) Damon and I decided to get her a bunch of new toys, since she hasn't received any new ones lately. (Not that she needed anymore toys, the dog has more than most children, but it is always fun to have new things!)

And was so happy with the new bone, the duck, the pheasant and another squeaky ball toy.

We love our little Shasta baby (I sing her the 'Santa Baby' song as 'Shasta Baby' during the holidays) and all of the various nicknames that she has. When Ryanne was over the other day, she asked me 'Who is Reno?' I laughed and responded that that is just another one of Shasta's nicknames.

Cutest Video Ever

Is this maybe the cutest video that you have ever seen? We love Avery's little backwards crawl!

Avery and Damon raced all the way down the hallway...she is such a fast crawler. I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband, who is going to be an amazing father to his daughter.

Baby M's Baby Shower

I realized that I had not posted any photos of Baby M's showers from the middle of November, so I will revert back a few weeks with the next few posts. My mom's best friend Nancy is always so generous about hosting events for my sister and I. She is a fabulous hostess and so much fun to be with. She hosted a shower for my mom's close friends at her adorable house and it was a great relaxing afternoon surrounded by some beautiful women.
