Mom's 60th Birthday

My mom had a milestone birthday this year, but she isn't too much of a partier, so we just got together for a long lunch at El Torito.  We love getting appetizers and margaritas.

Plus, the girls love the bull horns!

Cheers!

To make the day a little more special, we brought yummy Sift cupcakes.  Which were a big hit :)

Although two of the cupcakes were ruined form A and C 'helping' to blow out that candles.  It was more of a 'spit on the candles' from Cambrie.  Heehee.

Surrounded by sweet little love...

My mom means the world to me and I wish that she let us celebrate her with a big ol' party or surprise of some sort.  Maybe next time?

Mothers Day Tea

The week before Mothers Day Cambrie's school had a Mothers Day tea.  We went last year and it was super cute, so I was looking forward to going again this year.  Krystina was in Disneyland with her boys, so I missed my partner in crime.  I had a great day and actually spent well over an hour at the school chatting with other moms and playing with C.

C was very excited for me to wear the hat she made for me.

This year she did a great job sitting with her friends and singing along.  Last year she was shy and one of her favorite teachers held her.  This year, all big girl singing along to Mr. Jeffery with his guitar.

We didn't really enjoy any of the lunch (except for the fruit), but we spent lots of time on the swings and me pushing her on the car track.

She is certainly a happy little girl at her school!

Mothers Day - Part Three

Moving on the second half of our day with my other camera...look at this cutie!!!

So much fun in the back of his Uncle's truck!

Landon has an extremely adorable relationship with my Grandpa.  He loves him.  Gets excited when he enters a room, gets upset when he leaves a room.  Landon's face lights up when you say 'grandpa Mori' and one day at my moms house he was having a dramatic crying episode like many 18 month olds have. After about 20 minutes my mom showed him a picture of my grandpa and all was well in the world.  These pictures are really special to me for us to all remember their bond.

As much as my grandpa is good for Landon, Landon is just as good for my grandpa.  He keeps him young.

My grandparents cabin is a really special place to me.  So many memories within the walls and on the porch.  I really enjoy spending time up there and creating more memories with my little family.

A few shots of the 4 generations....

and then three generations:

Lovely ladies in my life that I am so thankful for :)

Mothers Day - Part Two

Here are some pictures form my other camera from our Mothers Day morning.  C just loves any older kids, and I adore watching her play with them.  I get to see a whole different side of her personality.

I snapped a few lovely pics of Aunt Linda and Andriana (who is graduating from high school this year).  So hard to believe that she was 8 when I first met her!  Such a pretty young lady :)

And, then I had Damon snap a few with my sweet girl.

More lovely ladies and girlies :)

The best photo I got of Damon with his mom - silly C face!

Poor Loren had a bad stumble a few weeks ago - he is quite proud of his battle wounds.  Yikes!  We forgot to tell C about it before he walked in the door.  She was a little freaked out and wanted to cover his face in band-aids.  Haha.
