Alaska Cruise: Part Five

I found a few more pics from our PJ day at sea and wanted to share with you our very seasoned captain on the boat :)

After 3 days at sea we arrived in Juneau to lovely warm summer weather.

First item of business was to head to the Red Dog Saloon for a cocktail and some live music.  Unfortunately they weren't playing the piano this particular day, but we still enjoyed our time.

Fair with Friends #2

Here are a few more pictures of Cambrie and Noah enjoying a family play date at the fair.

Fair with Friends #1

We love the fair and we love having adventures with our friends.  This year we were only able to meet up with Noah and his family. We learned our lesson and purchased them unlimited ride bands, plus we arrived a little earlier than last year to take full advantage of it all.  

We rode rides, ate dinner and C attempted to go into the big bouncing/floating/claustrophobic balls.  Last year she loved them.  This year? Not so much.  

She was happy for about 3 minutes - then I waved at her to get a picture and she lost it.  Big huge tears with her big ol' eyes.  It was so sad.  But, I totally laughed.  I really need to work on not laughing when my kid is scared or hurt.  Its a pretty bad habit.  But she makes the funniest faces or says the craziest things that gets me laughing.  

After getting back on dry land we headed back to the kid section to ride as many rides as we could before we had to leave for the Monster Truck show.

They went down the big slide together and I was very nervous.  The stairs going up there were pretty steep, they had to carry their sack to slide on and there were bigger kids behind them towards the top.  But they didn't fall, they did a great job and they loved the slide.  I'll upload the video from my other camera card later.  It was adorable - and they looked kid such big independent kiddos!
