Christmas Eve - Part One

Christmas is going to last on the blog for a long time...too many celebrations and too many pictures. Obviously, we had a great time with our families for the holiday and I wish that it could last all year long.

We started the festivities early on Christmas Eve morning with brunch at my sister's house.  The girls were very excite to see each other - per usual :)

Landon enjoyed his first Christmas - he is getting so big and chubby.  We love it!

Many glasses of champagne were enjoyed by everyone with the fancy drink mixes added in.  Yummy!

Before breakfast we decided to open a few gifts so that the girls wouldn't get too overwhelmed.  The first gift that Cambrie opened was an assortment of Thomas bath toys.  She just started squealing.  Sweet thing just loves her Thomas Choo-Choo.

There was definitely a theme with each of the girls...Avery was all princess and Cambrie was all Mickey and Thomas.  :)

It is so great to see my grandparents enjoy their great-grandchildren.

The girls did a great job opening presents, being excited for their gifts and thankful at the same time.

The adults did a great job of being goofy...

One of the gifts I was most excited to give Cambrie was a personalized Disney princess book.  It is a Cinderella story personalized for Avery with Cambrie, Papa, Landon, her address and her birthday all included in the text.  Best groupon gift this year :)

Damon arrived after everyone else (he was running last minute errands before heading out to New Mexico with my dad for a hunting trip) and when he walked in the door Avery shouted 'Hi Uncle D!' She just loves him...and so does Cambrie too...

Another favorite gift of C's was a super cute Mickey shirt from my mom.  When she noticed what it was she immediately started undressing.

With Papa's help she was able to switch out her fancy dress shirt into her Mickey one.

My dad brought some special gifts for the girls...

their own set of play golf clubs.  So now that can be just like Papa :)

We had quite the funny time taking a group shot.  I didn't bring my remote and hadn't used the self-timer on my new camera.  So I thought that I only had 2 seconds to run back to the group.  Turns out that I am not that fast of a runner.  Then Damon tried and we got a few.  Then I realized there was a 10 second timer.  Haha - good times!

Mimi and Grampie...

Just a few quick pictures of my girlie with her Grampie and Mimi.  They are so sweet to be able to watch her for me while I have client and personal appointments.  They love spending individual time with her and I love having some time to myself as well :)

My grandma always has holiday decorations up and Cambrie always loves her window clings.  This time she was so excited for snowmen - her favorite!

Despite how much fun she has with them, she always runs to me when I come back.  I usually try to get a picture because I know that at some point she probably won't be running towards me like this :)

Kindermusic

We are about to finish up another 3 month session of weekly music classes at Kindermusic.  We love it and enjoy our time together.  This particular class I brought in my camera (so much harder now that C is walking - or running - around the class) and was so happy that I did.  Cambrie participated really well in this class and didn't cling to me like she sometimes does.  So, it was a great day for me to take pictures.

Class always starts with a free music time while we wait for the other kiddos and adults to join us.  This day it was drums - which are her favorites.

She even did a great job listening to Miss Fran and stopped drumming when she instructed everyone to.

Cambrie also did a great job sharing with other friends too.

On our first day of class we were SO excited to see our friends Estelle and Shannon walk in the room.  We didn't realize that they were enrolled as well and were so happy to share music with them on a weekly basis.

Circle dance time...

This theme for the day was all things winter - ice skating with shoes on paper plates, throwing kleenex as snow balls and bubbles for snow.

Then we ended the class with a beautiful Christmas story while all the kiddos sat on their reading blanket.

At the end of class everyone gets to shake Miss Fran's hand and get a stamp.  The kiddos all love it :)

So much fun with my sweet girlie and her friends...
