Alicia's Final Baby Shower

A nice little switch up from Tahoe photos, right? These pictures are from Alicia's final baby shower in January that was hosted by her friends, Caryn, Julie and Stephanie. Although it was a dreary rainy day outside, the inside of the house was festive and full of love (plus there was a lot of great food!)

The girls outdid themselves with the gorgeous set-up and decorations, Caryn's family room was transformed into an intimate candlelit setting...

We played a super fun candy baby shower game - I am not going to describe it since I will probably use it in the future :) But I will say it was very fun!

Meet little Miss Kaylin - her mom is expecting a little boy in March as well - we became fast friends, she is adorable. (That's her dad in the background - he was the driver for his pregnant wife - love it.)

I was about to take some photos of Alicia with her old teacher friends and then little Miss A started kicking around...they were sweet moments.

The Hayward school group...

The four pregnant girls - all due in March/April all with boys, except Alicia.

The Ursuline girls (I joked and told them that I would put it in the Ursuline magazine - which I won't!)

And to prove that I was there (and since I too am an Ursuline girl)...

The Cal Poly girls who all married Lambda Chi fraternity guys...

The hostesses...

Cannot wait for the little girl to arrive...we are counting the days (and hours!)

Tahoe 2010 - Part Three

Are you tired of Tahoe pictures yet? I think I will spice it up tomorrow with some others - but I just have lots of images to share! After sledding at Boca we headed to Cabela's for some shopping (oh how I love shopping at Cabela's) and lunch. Damon and I have been to that Cabela's 5 times since it opened in 2007 - heehee!
Once we returned to the cabin we decided to sled in the back yard area and it was perfect! Damon and Randy worked at making the sledding area even better - I love having around a pair of handy man hands :)

An absolute horrible self portrait - at least my blog is private so I know that everyone looking at the site are people who love me for who I am :)

Casen decided that Damon was his best friend throughout the weekend - he wanted to do everything that Damon did and only wanted to sled with him. Poor Damon couldn't keep up all the time with the 8 year old!

Trenton reminds me so much of myself - he is a little more shy and sometimes prefers to play on his own, in his own world. Definitely not as adventurous as Casen is, just like I was in comparison to my sister.

Love the facial expressions!

See the big jump that they created off of the rock?

The weather was perfect - lots of sun, but still plenty of snow.

Randy got some serious speed - wait until I upload a super funny video this weekend!

Damon and I took a drive to find where the house that my family rented for a week this summer. We didn't have the address, but we had a brief description and we were able to find it. Next time you see a photo it will look very different without all the snow!

Isn't the deck amazing? And it looks out over the lake - whoohoo!

We also ventured up to the Ritz Carlton in Truckee where my dear friend Lisa is getting married in June. Wow - it was amazing. I literally cannot wait for her wedding - it is going to be exquisite. Here is the view from the hotel property...
