Disneyland - Part Five

Tuesday morning was our last day in the park, so we tried to do everything that Cambrie requested.  This was the warmest day (of course - isn't it always that way?) and is was nice not to have it so windy.  

We headed to the teacups first thing while Ryanne rode the Matterhorn about 5 times :)

Then we headed over to Its A Small World for a second ride.  I just love that ride.  Its a classic and it a nice opportunity to sit down for a long period of time :)

 I picked up one of C's two souvenirs at the gift shop - another fun Small World book.  We have one from my mom from our first trip and Cambrie still adores it.

After grabbing some breakfast the sweetest thing happened.  Ryanne wanted to go on the Tarzan tree house with Loren.  When C saw them she ran after Loren and grabbed his hand.  So, he took both girls in the treehouse.

Next up was the longest line ever at the jungle cruise - the line was ridiculous but the ride was funky and fun.

Waiting for the train was the perfect opportunity for a mini photo session...

Everytime we have gone to Disneyland, we have talked about eating lunch at the Blue Bayou which is the restaurant in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.  And this time we made it happen.  We all really enjoyed the meal and the ambiance was great too.  I had a fun drink too with a flashy ice cube that the girls were all excited about.

Our last time at the castle and time for some pictures - including our first and only group picture.

As the last 5 posts have shown, it was a memorable trip to the happiest place on earth with some of my favorite people.  We are so thankful for the opportunity to make these memories with our family!

Disneyland - Part Four

By this time, Cambrie was well beyond her napping point but still wouldn't settle herself down.  We find that actually staying in the stroller is better than going back to the hotel.  It's like she gets another burst of energy in a different location and she is able to zone out in the stroller.  Despite her getting more and more 'pushing boundaries' we ventured to Mickey's house.  At least she was able to kinda walk around and explore while waiting.

To help with the cold weather, we doubled up C on her shirts.  She was having a blast looking at herself in the mirror and kept talking to her reflection showing the separate shirts that she had.

We didn't quite get the perfect group photo, but the girls were excited to see their Mickey Mouse.

Everything is so pretty in Disneyland during a normal day and it is just magnified when it is decorated for Christmas.

Damon, Kris, Cambrie and I headed over to Its a Small World to try and brave the crowds.  We got there right when they were closing the ride to prep for fireworks.  We ended up staying and watching the light show - then it started to 'snow.'  It was such a magical moment - C loved it.  And then they cancelled the fireworks and opened the ride so we only had to wait about 5 minutes.  Perfect timing :)

Disneyland - Part Three

After resting back at the hotel, we headed back to Disneyland for the night...and look what I caught on camera...

For some goofy reason, Cambrie kept referring to Tyler as her Auntie Tyler during the trip.  I love that they bonded and I also love how sweet my girl is.  She really enjoys sitting on laps, holding hands and being held by her favorite people.  Which also includes her Grandma:

Damon doesn't like my green hat on me and always makes fun of me...I thought it looked particularly nice on Loren :)

While the girls were in the Haunted Mansion, the rest of us headed over to Winnie the Pooh.  I went to the restroom, so it was just the boys on the ride with the little C's.  And Cambrie loved all the attention from her Papa.

Well, I guess this is going to be a long post since the photos from the next morning were also uploaded.

While the taller family members went on the Cars ride in California Adventure, we headed over to see our favorite - Lightning McQueen!  I was having horrible flashbacks from our visit in March with my mom and sister when C kept running away from me and we had to leave.  Thankfully this time was a completely different experience.

Charlotte had a lot of fun with us and it was fun having two kiddos for the short time.

And then it was time for pictures with Christmas Mater :)

After the rest of the group was done with the ride we used our stroller pass and waited about 20 minutes to get on the Cars ride.  We also took Ryanne with us which was fun to have a little one on one time with her.  

It was honestly a great fun and detailed ride - but I couldn't really enjoy it.  All that I thought about was that Cambrie would have LOVED it.  I was a little too disappointed by it and might have shed a tear.  She is a little over 37 inches and the height requirement is 40 inches - we will see how much taller she grows in the next year.

Cambrie and I snuck away for some alone time in the explorers forest across from the water ride in California Adventure.  I hadn't been there before and it was all set up for Christmas with fun activities and treasure hunts.  You had to complete lots of obstacles in order to go visit with the elves.

Well, we kinda got a pass on completing all the obstacles and were able to go meet the elves anyways.  They had everyone sign a guest book. Cambrie picked her favorite color - blue.

And she drew a perfect C in the book (its hard to see on the pictures, but if you zoom you can see it.)  I was so proud of her!

We even got to go on a sled :)

Back in Disneyland it was time for the teacups again...
