Carrie Underwood Concert

Hard to believe that this was 6 weeks ago - it was so much fun :)  Morgan, Krystina, Brooklyn, Jaime and me went to see Carrie Underwood in concert down in Oakland.  It was so fun and so good!

Easton Corbin (sp?) and the Swoon Brothers both opened and although they were good, Carrie was obviously great!

The pictures make if seem like we were super far away but we were 8 rooms up from the pit and it was a great view.  Her show was full of lots of lights and stage turning (that was different!) and equally balanced with stripped down moments with her just singing on a stool. 

She had a ton of outfit changes and it turns out that she wears different dress and outfits for each show - it must be nice having a ton of options depending on her mood for the evening!

After the concert we stood outside and watched the truck load up...there were 20 transfer trucks with forklifts buzzing around.  It was quite a show and I wanted to stay there longer to watch all the logistics.  We did see the main backup singer and let her know that she did a great job - clearly no Carrie sightings :(

Fun night indeed!

Saturday with My Girl

Here are some photos from a typical Saturday in the Morelli household...Damon was hunting so it was a Saturday with my best girl.  We work up early (super early for us!) to make it to Noahs 8:30 baseball game in Santa Rosa.  We love supporting our friends and had a great time watching him play.  The park in Rincon Valley was so peaceful (and busy - so many families!)  Of course, C and Noah had to run around like crazy kiddos afterwards.  

I tried oh so hard to get a good photo of all 3 - but this was what I got :)  Abigail is looking so confused - maybe she is wondering what C is doing with her arms and Noah is straight drooling over wanting to jump in the puddles like Cambrie invited him to (without parental approval, of course.)

Afterwards we headed to the 4H Foundation breakfast to support Krystina at her part-time job.  We had a yummy breakfast and C loves learning about the 4H and seeing all the cute kiddos.  Thanks for tickets Tina!

Randomly we decided to get her hair cut...

and then for mani/pedis!

I have no clue why I am making this face when my daughter looks so cute.  But after our fun filled morning we headed home to rest before James' birthday party.

Very thankful for all of this time with my Cambrie girl - she makes life crazy, colorful, funny, frustrating as well as small and big all at once.  Hard to believe that she has such power in her tiny little being.

Charlottes Birthday Party

Ok - last birthday blog post for awhile!  This post is for Miss Charlotte who turned 5 in April.  Leana threw a lovely party up at the ranch and invited Charlottes preschool classmates.  It was fun to have so many of her friends jumping in the jump house.  Her party was during turkey hunting season (aka: the season when Damon is hunting pretty much all day every day) so I stole a few minutes with him riding in the mule around the ranch.)

Of course, Damon took time out to push C on the swing....he is such an awesome father in touch with his little girls life.

We took a family ride up the hill to drop Damon back off hunting...look at the smile on my girl!

It was my first time ever driving one of their off road ranch vehicles - thankfully I did fine and now I feel like a true member of the Morelli family!

Charlotte had such a fun birthday party and was sooo sad when the jumpy had to leave.  Everyone slept really good that night after all the jumping!

Morelli Birthday Celebrations

See - so many birthday celebrations :)  And there are still more to come!  

In March celebrated Loren and Tylers birthday and then Leanas in April.  The girls always love getting together and lately Charlotte and Cambrie have been playing a lot more together and it is sweet to see their relationship growing.  

There is never a shortage of candle blowing helpers in our family :)

Seriously my 'not-super-into-sweets' daughter thought she was going to eat a piece of cake as large as her head?

For Tylers birthday we headed to the bowling alley with a big group of Tylers family and friends.  C loves bowling so it was a great choice!

Noah's Birthday Party

Another post - another birthday party!  This time for our little Noah turning 5 at Pump It Up.  It was basically a super awesome playdate with all the ladies and babies that I love.
