Cederville via Cell Phone

Reverting back to Cederville via cell phone pictures because I loved this time with my family :)

C loves hotel rooms...they don't need to be fancy for her (this one certainly wasn't but there aren't many choices in Cederville).  She makes herself right at home, loves being in charge of the keys and looks at it all as an adventure. 

She also loves entertaining and spent a lot of time singing with the 'microphone' on Damon's truck (the step stool handle).

The library is open on a rotating basis throughout Modoc County...one day per town per week!

We took a pit stop to Burney Falls on the way home to show C where we were engaged.  Its just so beautiful!

Hard to believe it was 11 years ago that we were camping with Cy and Damon asked me to marry him.  It was an awesome weekend - hoping to go camping there soon with C :)

Date Day - Country Summer Style

Damon and I do a pretty good job of having date nights (or lunches) and at least a weekend away each year, plus a few concerts when we can.  We are so thankful to have our family local to help watch Miss C.  

One of our fun dates this year was the Country Summer concert at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds the weekend before the cruise.  Even though it was a busy time, we were happy we went.  It was a full day concert with the best people watching - ever!

We sat our chairs way in the back (much different than when I went with the girls the year before) and enjoyed the sunshine, music and people watching.

Plus we enjoyed lots of yummy fair type food!

It is so nice to share a love of music with my Damon.  Concerts have always been a big part of our relationship - my first gift to him was to see Blake Shelton at Konocti before Blake was a super big super star :)  I look forward to many more concerts in our future.  

PreK Graduation

The Thursday after the cruise was C's PreK graduation.  She was very excited and so was her family :)

While she was at school in the morning I ran home to set-up for our after graduation party.  C knew we were having family over, but she didn't know we would have presents and decorations.  She was VERY excited :)

It was so nice that my parents, Alicia and her family and Kris came to support our girl. 

I was also very excited that she got to sit next to her best buddy, Wyatt.  They were in school from 2 years together and were supposed to go to the same kindergarten, but he ended up moving.  We wish they were still at the same school together - he miss him!

After the ceremony, she showed Avery around her school a little.  Then we headed up to her elementary school (across the street) to show the family where she'd be a few weeks later.

Back home and opening some gifts:

The class sang Tim McGraws Humble and Kind song...it was adorable.  My sister got her this sweet frame that is now in C's room.   

Before everyone left we had to take lots of pictures in the front yard to commemorate the occasion.

Leana, Ryanne and Charlotte joined us for lunch - it was fun to have the party guests grow :)

This sweet girl is just the best and we couldn't be more proud of her!
