Disneyland - Part Five

On Sunday morning it was raining, so my parents and my family stayed back at the hotel for a little while.  We then headed right into California Adventure and rode a ton of rides in a short amount of time.  We really like the Toy Story ride and each time we played I won :)

Then we headed into Disney to meet up with my sister and Geoff's mom.  It started raining again so we took cover under an umbrella and fed some ducks.

We had lunch at Minnies since we heard their friend chicken was pretty good - I didn't have any, but everyone said it was pretty good.

We were excited to see Peter Pan when while we were there :)

Being in the park in the rain was fun - it created a little different adventure and obstacles.  Plus there weren't as many people :)

We walked righ tin to visit with Mickey and were excited to see him in his Steamboat Willie costume.  A first for us!

My sister and Geoff went on some rides and I took care of LT - we went on Buzz and the rockets.  He is such a happy smiley little guy.

Then we headed into Launch Bay which is the world of Star Wars and where LT was in heaven.  C and A had a good time too and they 'played' their first video game.

As a Disney Visa card member we have access to some private character meet and greets and a photo printout.  We were able to spend a good chunk of time with Kylo Ren.  I had no clue who that was, but he was super excited.

We also went to meet with Chewbaca (spelling?) where my hubby was excited too :)

Afterwards we took LT to visit with Spiderman and it was so cute.

When we left, we told Superman that he had made Landon's day and he responded 'Well, he just made my day.'  Sooo adorable :)  I love those little touches of Disneyland that make it extra special.

Disneyland - Part Four

Our first full day in Disney included two cute cousins posing for pictures to send to Mimi Theresa.

Such sweet friends excited to make memories together.

Landon checking out the teeth on the whale that he kept telling his mom were dirty and needed to be brushed :)

Papa and his girls:

First time on the Matterhorn - success for the Morellis!

Riding Thunder Mountain with Papa :)

Cutest moment of the trip that left most of the adults with tears in their eyes.  My sweet Landon participating in the Jedi Training as he was in a trance over his favorite people coming to life :)  It it so fun seeing a 3 year old at Disneyland when everything is magical and exciting and real.  Love this little guy and his love for Star Wars!

Another first this trip - Space Mountain for my girl!

Another success for my brave daughter - she loved it!

The Pixar parade is one of my favorites since we love all the movies and the parade route isn't as crowded as in Disneyland (and you can drink alcohol while watching it!)

A little late night visit with Anna and Elsa - only 15 minutes this time :)

Wish that we were all back in Disneyland right now!

Disneyland - Part Three

Here are the cell phone pictures from the first day of our Disneyland trip...C and I bright and early in the morning around 5:15 a.m.  It was certainly an early wake up call!

First stop for breakfast about two hours in - happy cousins posing in the parking lot.

I turned around and these three were sitting so cute together in the booth waiting for their meals.

Holding hands during one of her mini car naps - she is such a good traveler (as long as she has her oils to prevent her from getting carsick.)

Getting a little silly and using my moms mirror as goggles to look like Skye from Paw Patrol :)

Landons excitement to see Buzz Lightyear!

Perma smiles while riding Dumbo with her momma.

C bought some new Elsa Mickey ears with some birthday money from her Auntie Leana - they had a little veil in the back which is super cute.

The girls were so talkative to the Princesses.  They asked them a few questions and the answers were long and drawn out.  It was too funny!

Cute little profile in Nemo.

And the first Paint the Night parade for the group - such a cool parade.  C also purchased a light wand/paint brush that is pretty cool.  It changes color with the lights on the parade floats and can also change the color of other magic items.  There was a cart full of similar items and we would change the entire cart with the touch of a button.  And, during the parade one of Tinkerbelles fairies came by and changed C's brush light.  It was pretty awesome!
