4H BBQ

We really liked supporting 4H and we like BBQ, so taking C to the Chicken-que at the Fairgrounds.  There were hundreds of people there - what a great fundraiser!

We ate out on the lawn away from the crowds since Cambrie gets a little intimidated at times.  We had a nice picnic and were then joined by Leanna and her family - so we were able to go to all the exhibits with our family.

Three cute cousins sitting on a hay bail taking pictures :)

They completed lots of arts and crafts, such as this homemade turkey call.

And checking out Henry1.

We are so excited that Cambrie has expressed interest in 4H - we hope that she keeps it up and that we can sign up in the fall.  I always wanted to get involved with 4H but it wasn't something I was able to do, and, clearly, Damon's parents have a perfect location if she wants to raise livestock.  I didn't realize that there are a lot of other non-livestock options such as cooking, volunteering, etc.  We love that the meetings are a family event too!
